These collages are made mostly of images from old National Geographic and Life Magazines, as well as photos I’ve taken.  I live in Ashland, Oregon, a town that I love dearly and keep coming back to again and again.  I grew up in and around Aberdeen, Washington and recently spent many years in Berkeley, California.  

Trying to put into words what I do with collage, or what I’m trying to do, or how and why I do it,  is very difficult. What I can say that is that making collages makes me happier and is more personally fulfilling than just about anything else in the whole world.
